Toyota 2ZR-FE 1.8 Dual VVT-i Engine

About this engine

The engine in nearly every Corolla built between 2007 and 2019, and the reason so many of them are still running. The 2ZR-FE is an all-aluminium 1.8 with chain-driven twin cams and Dual VVT-i on both intake and exhaust — no timing belt to replace, and no interference drama when the chain is looked after. These came in as complete units with the inlet manifold, coil packs, alternator and ancillaries still fitted, as the photographs show. Six on the floor at the time of writing. Sold as a used import, exactly as it came out of the donor vehicle and as photographed. The engine code above is the one marked on this unit; we confirm it against the stamped engine number before dispatch. Compression and leak-down testing is available on request before you commit, and every unit carries a 3-month warranty against internal mechanical failure.
