About this engine

The 1.6 of the same all-aluminium ZR family as the 2ZR — same chain drive, same Dual VVT-i, shorter stroke. It is the standard fit in European and South African 1.6 Corollas and the Auris, and the sensible replacement when a high-mileage original has finally had enough. Stock is marked up in our racking and photographed where it stands; units come complete with manifold, coils and ancillaries. Sold as a used import, exactly as it came out of the donor vehicle and as photographed. The engine code above is the one marked on this unit; we confirm it against the stamped engine number before dispatch. Compression and leak-down testing is available on request before you commit, and every unit carries a 3-month warranty against internal mechanical failure.
