About this engine

A two-litre V6 — an unusual thing now, and the reason these are worth having. The VG20E runs a cast-iron block with alloy heads, a single cam per bank and port injection, and it was built for the Japanese tax classes that made a small-capacity six worth engineering. Smooth in a way no two-litre four manages. "NISSAN V6 2000" is cast into the plenum of this unit, which is visible in the first photograph. Supplied complete with the plenum, injection and distributor as removed. Sold as a used import, exactly as it came out of the donor vehicle and as photographed. The engine code above is the one marked on this unit; we confirm it against the stamped engine number before dispatch. Compression and leak-down testing is available on request before you commit, and every unit carries a 3-month warranty against internal mechanical failure.
